“The New York Trilogy”.
Current ‘live’ brief is to create a book cover for the novel “New York Trilogy”.
One of the main themes is ‘identity’ within the book and the many aspects to it and so by using this as a running theme I have decided to bring the pages from inside the book to the outside to create a cover.
Through the pages I have highlighted, deleted, crossed out and sewn into the names and places which reveal some sort of identity, resulting in them either being completely removed or as a contrast the main focus.
It is really interesting bringing the inside out, but creating an ideal cover is taking time..
